The Man in the Crescent Moon Pendant

A sleeping face emerges from the surface of the crescent moon.

The detailed carving of the Man in the Moon gives this pendant a lot of personality, but the design is versatile so it shines on its own or when worn together with other chains and pendants.

You can add an 18" (45cm) sterling silver chain to your order, or purchase just the pendant to pair it with your own chain.

This pendant is also available in gold vermeil plated sterling silver with an optional matching 18" (45cm) gold vermeil silver chain.

Hand Carved and Finished

I carved this Man in the Moon design from jewellery wax by hand, it was cast in 100% recycled sterling silver by a specialty casting company. 100% of the recycled silver in this pendant comes from British medical x-rays.

I added a patina to the sterling silver pendants to bring out the details of the carving and then polished them to a high shine.

Finally the gold vermeil moon pendants were sent to London to be plated with 2.5 microns of 18 carat gold, 5 times thicker than standard gold plating.

Care Instructions

Please only clean your silver pendant with a silver polishing cloth (provided) or soap and water, as liquid jewellery cleaners could remove the patina and change the colour of the silver.

For gold vermeil jewellery, please avoid using any silver polishing products as they could remove gold from the surface, and only clean gently with a damp cloth when necessary.

Packaging

Your pendant will come in a recyclable black jewellery box, branded with a silver foil Lily Carmen Jewellery logo. The foam that holds your pendant is made from a paper industry byproduct (nonrecyclable). Your box will be cushioned in recycled tissue paper for safety and a joyful unboxing experience.
