An endless overlapping chain of hand carved ivy leaves form the band of this recycled sterling silver ring, inspired by walks through ivy covered trees in the woods.

Hand Carved, Sized and Finished in the UK
I carved this band by hand into jewellery wax, and it was
cast in 100% recycled sterling silver by a specialty casting company on the west coast of Scotland.
To make different sizes, I resize the ring in wax form before casting. After casting, I polish the ring to high shine in my studio in the
Scottish Borders.
Gold Vermeil
If you choose a gold vermeil finish, your ring will be gold plated to order with 5 microns of 18k gold by a company in London's Hatton Garden. This is double the thickness of standard gold vermeil, and ten times the thickness of standard gold plating! This means the gold finish will last much longer than other gold plated jewellery so you can wear it with pride for longer.
Gold plating will add up to 1 week to the delivery time.

Packaging
Your ring will come in a recyclable black jewellery box, branded with a silver foil Lily Carmen Jewellery logo. The foam that holds your ring is made from a paper industry byproduct (nonrecyclable). Your box will be cushioned in recycled tissue for safety and a joyful unboxing experience.
If you would like, you can add a gift message at checkout that I will handwrite on a postcard and add to the package for no additional cost.
