Would you like to create your own totally unique piece of silver jewellery? Why not come and spend an afternoon designing and carving your own one of a kind ring?

Here’s how it works:

  • I will give a demonstration of the tools and techniques you’ll use to create your ring. We’ll have a look at the materials and some finished examples for inspiration.
  • I’ll support you to develop and sketch your unique design.
  • You’ll then use the techniques shown to carve your design into jewellery wax. I’ll be on hand to help at all times for you to ask any questions you need!
  • We’ll have tea, coffee and biscuits to keep us fuelled through the carving process.
  • At the end of the session, I’ll collect your finished wax ring and send it to be cast into silver. Once I receive your silver ring I’ll give it a clean and polish and then send it out to you in a gift box with tracked shipping. It’s then yours to wear forever!

You can expect to receive your ring 2-4 weeks after the workshop.

Private Ring Making Workshops

Looking for a unique hen-do or other group celebration? Carving your own ring is a fun, unique activity to do with your friends and loved ones.

I am available to host private ring making workshops in the Scottish Borders, Edinburgh and Lothians, Northumberland or Newcastle.

Places are £75 per person for 2 - 6 people, which includes:

  • All tools, materials and refreshments
  • Demonstrations and guidance to carve your rings in wax
  • Casting of your rings in solid silver
  • Sustainable gift box and a reusable polishing cloth
  • Tracked shipping of your finished ring

You can host in your own home, or I can arrange venue hire for an extra cost. You can expect to receive your ring 2-4 weeks after the workshop.

Travel Area for Private Workshops

I am happy to travel up to 1.5 hours (approximately 40 miles) from St Boswells at no extra cost. If you'd like to host a workshop somewhere else in the UK, please get in touch for an estimate for your location.
